Turbo tax efile did not work - my taxes are late!

I used turbo tax. All determined acceptable. had problem withIRS not accept adjusted gross income and declined my taxers. Verified adjusted gross income per directions. still would not accept efile I also paid turbo tax to efile state return. Now filing hard copy and lost money for state efile charge. This is second time I lost money with Turbo tax problem

Painful to navigate

get user focused. this software is painful and frustrating to navigate between areas, I cant open more then one instance at a time, all the things are not fine.

it is VERY DIFFICULT FOR OLDERS to remember all the ways we have to remember how to get into our turbo tax/intuit information from year to year. It takes too long and is too confusing

Found one year-over-year issue and support acces

In preparing to e-file my returns I was asked to confirm 2020 AGI and PINS were entered in the process for myself and my spouse. I checked my 2020 TurboTax return and both matched. Unfortunately, both my Fed and State were rejected. After trying to resubmit and getting rejected again I was able to contact TurboTax by phone and explained my situation. I found that the issue resulted from the fact that I did not e-file in 2020 but submitted by mail. This resulted in no prior AGI showing as the IRS had not yet posted my return in their records for about a year from filing. TurboTax should add a question about how you filed your prior year return whether it is apparent in your records or not.
It was also difficult to find an in-person contact point for your support in your web site. It took me over an hour to finally wade through your electronic response system and get a person to call me back. This was happening on the IRS deadline date and I feel it should be easier to reach out for help in such a situation where I have no idea what is happening on the submission of my returns. It should be incorporated to the program for such support contact information.

like the way they ask questions for biggest return and any missed items from last year. could use better explanations on reviews for financial institutor questions when return is reviewed

Been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years

I love how I can transfer all the boring stuff from the previous year, and it gives me a template for all the forms I needed from the previous year. Unfortunately, I stopped using Quicken a few years ago so I lost the ability to quickly find expenses. I/m going to start up again. The help on the state form is a bit less thorough than on the federal, though. And this year it duplicated a couple of 1099-Rs. I had to manually delete them. I'd have thought the software would have been smart enough to detect this problem
