works great but free state not free

paid state taxes online. resumed efile. had to pay for my free state before it would continue. seems i had the same trouble last year. will i recover that fee this year?

used sinced 1996 tried something different about 20 years ago, tossed it in the garbage after more than an hour, returned to the store and got turbotax because it worked then and its even better now.
