Inability to update and file electronically?

The software oddly classifies 1099-NEC income from election work as Sch. C income.
The software was unable to connect to the Intuit Update Server, despite repeated tries over several days. The problem was not my internet connection (which worked fine) or the protection software (which I disabled).

I've been using TT for many years now, and the convenience of having all my info imported into the program just can't be oversold. It's very cool. As long as I have kept all my paperwork and have it handy, it's a snap. I literally did all my taxes (granted, I have a pretty simple situation, standard deduction, no fancy schmancy credits or whatever) in about an hour. I would HIGHLY recommend for any first time filers or experienced folks looking to avoid paying through the nose for "bring your stuff to our office" tax preparers.

User interface needs an upgrade. It has taken several days to complete the taxes although all the information was in hand. Several questions were answered repeatedly such as primary county of residence and personal business information.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Great Software Misleading pricing!

I'm mostly satisfied with TT however advertising that State return is included only to be hit with a $25 efile state charge is misleading to be generous.
