Convenient & Simple Way to File Taxes

I have used Turbo Tax to file my taxes for over 20 years. It is very convenient and easy to use year after year. I like that there are experts on call if you need help or have questions.

Compared with doing it myself, TurboTax is excellent. I've been using it for over twenty years. Hyperlinks with more info are helpful. Usually don't need a live chat but I like importing info from last year's return. Dependable and user-friendly.

Gets the job done but user experience tedious

User experience stuck in 1990s. Switching between forms and wizard is tedious. Little transparency to what form needs the answer they ask for. used it for years, paid accountant last year due to odd tax situation. Used this year and had to re-enter all info cuz it can't pull from 2 years ago, only last year. Retrieval of interest info from major bank never worked - failed after entering data and getting a phone call id # - 4 times. Had to enter by hand. Couldn't use Google autofill which already had a lot of the info they needed. The entry registration form isn't smart enough to get name/address/etc. from data I've entered for taxes.

Filing Turbo Tax

Had problems loading at first, but it only took about 15 min to load. After loading it was Real easy and fast.

TurboTax has gone from a useful piece of software to nothing but a shill for the IRS. After almost 30 years of using it, this will undoubtedly be my last.

Easy to use and to follow the step by step procedures, and it will lead you to the maximum refund possible, but some tax topic's understanding is needed in order to maximize your experience.
