Turbo Tax is Excellent

I have been using turbo tax ever since it came out in disc form. I can't imagine using any other software. It's easy, accuarate and I've never been contacted by any tax agency, federal or state, for corrections or additional information.

RurboTax is Fantastic!

It is SO simple, especially with the way it automatically imports the personal data and data from my return from last year. I plan to continue to use it forever. It is much better than other similar products. I have two suggestions, however. First, please make it clearer on the conclusion page after I've entered my Itemized Deductions, that, if there's no tax consequence difference between filing the Standard Deduction versus using my Itemized deductions, that TurboTax defaults to using the Standard Deduction, EVEN if my Itemized Deductions are larger than the Standard Deduction. If my tax liability is no different (e,g, zero tax liability), then it would be simpler to use the Standard Deduction. My second suggestion has to do with my California return, and is related to my first concern above. If I've chosen to use the Standard Deduction for my Federal return, please make it VERY CLEAR that you will use my Itemized Deductions for my California return when you finish it up so I can go back and claim more deductions, if necessary. In my case, I owed zero on my Federal Return, so I used my Standard Deduction. If I needed to use my Itemized Deductions to reduce my California tax liability, YOU NEED TO TELL ME THAT. before I find out only when I go to print out my returns.

Turbo Tax needs to REMEMBER

I hate that when I load the program on my PC (from CD) TT can't seem to pull any of the personal information I spent time entering the previous year. How hard can it be? FIX THIS - I have listed the same complaint for several years now.
