Deluxe version is a good product - some quirks

I love the fact that the program will auto fill from previous years returns (if using Turbo Tax on prior years). Sometime hard to find input details when going back investigate / review / make changes. Needed to use search function or even the internet to resolve question(s)

Turbo Tax does great for straightforward returns

Our straightforward returns were easy. Our family member with foreign income...not so much. We eventually got the difficult form filed but next time we will go to a foreign income tax specialist.

There is a problem in Turbo Tax

I have a 1099 MISC that is not a business and is not money paid to me. It is a UAW benefit that I am required to pay taxes on. I cannot enter the information Turbo Tax askes for because it is a benefit not my business. After hours of frustration, I do not put this information in which could get me audited. Please fix this. Just add not my business and not require me to give accounting info, etc. that I have no knowledge of.

Good, could use more emphasis on State

The state part did not use data from last year tax automatically. The wording of a question about dealing with commodities was confusing. (If I was paid by a list, healthcare, commodities etc.) [Is it stocks or actual commodities?] Entering days of covid could have been faster. Overall great product!
