It's mostly easy and has got a nice and convenient guidance.
But sometimes I struggle to return to topics even with the usage of flags. There are questions I get asked again and again and TurboTax does not prefill the answer I chose before. That way it is more difficult to return to a screen that was maintained by me before.

Estate and Trust Income Support Needs Improvement

I have trust income from an estate. Very problematic to get it to work on the PA state return. PA RK-1 is not properly supported and for some returns I had to manually create a Schedule J to initiate the process. For another it insisted my return was either a PArtnership or and S Corporation. It was neither, but the program would not let me omit that answer. It seemed like I needed to be in a different worksheet, but there was no way to switch. Happy to discuss more. Very frustrated to have to file a return with incorrect information after paying top dollar for this software.

better than in past when states wouldn't load

let us choose whether or not to update turbo tax or look for latest updates. It takes 5 minutes at least every time you revisit, very frustrating
also when on long pages entering tax information on everything the only way to scroll down is to slide side bar on the computer, it would make it so easy if you could just page down or slide within the page. lets get more user friendly. cmon..

Last two years are a total disappointment

For the last last two years I've struggled with failed installs getting a Windows fatal error, that prevents the TurboTax updates, from installing. I've tried using their manual patch and it doesn't help. TurboTax is the only program in the last two years that I've ever had installation problems. I know posted in blogs, there a sequence of steps that might help, however I'm 70 years old and not a computer wizard. I've read some of the recommended procedures to try and fix the install problem and I'm clueless as to what needs to be done. And I'm tired of spending hours trying to get a tax return done. At this point I'd be better off paying an accountant to do my taxes.

Worst year of Turbo Tax software (2021 return)

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years and this year's had 3 major flaws. 1. Had to go to a forum and change underlying windows settings in order to load the program--sucked up over 3 hours of my time. 2 Unclear instructions on how to handle Crypto income and associated Form 1099-K. 3. I purchased Deluxe version with one free state efile and yet, TT forced me to pay an addidional $25 on my credit card to file my son's MA return.
