Still room for improvement

A trouble occurred when updating new employment credit. It's irrelevant item but somehow trigged out. To the worst, the system always requested the owner ID I didn't have at different occasions or at check points. It wasn't solved till the end and really an embarrassed experience. A good software/application of the type should always provide options (or back option) or solutions when something went wrong or users get into troubles for any reasons. Unfortunately this time it's not the case; you could not move back for a reset or restart of the part.

Disappointed Again

Last year my return was rejected for e-file. Had to file paper returns. Still waiting on refund from 2020. I learned this is due to a problem in the program for widow(er)s filing. This year I had to pay TWICE to file because the code from the first software I purchased was rejected. So done with TurboTax. Switching to TaxAct next year.

To File Your State Tax Return

It is not free to electronically file your State Tax Return with Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax should change its advertisement to state it charges to electronically file your State Tax and that there is no charge to file the Federal Tax Forms. TurboTax should provide a free link to all States, Territories and Districts (eg. Washington, District of Columbia) of thr United Started as they do for the Federal Tax return.
