Not as great for 2021

I've used TT for many years. However, this year I found a couple of issues that I would not have known about if I didn't have tax prep experience. The first issue was TT completed a Sch 8812 which was not applicable because I don't have dependents. The biggest issue was that TT used state tax withheld without checking to see if general sales tax deduction was larger (Sch A, li 5a). It was over $1500 difference!
I will probably continue to use TT in the future, but I now have some concerns.

Gets the job done

Overall Turbo Tax is helpful for completing federal and state taxes. Although, if you buy a product that includes state taxes, it shouldn't be an additional fee to e-file the state tax forms.
I found that the local city taxes were not well organized. I had to review and change information, but there was no "back" button. For a while there, I thought I'd have to submit as is and then amend it, but I did find a roundabout way to get to the forms to edit the information. Someone who is less tech savvy may not be able to figure that out. Also, the forms that it printed for us to send for the city taxes were missing the cover voucher page. I only found this page when I was reviewing the full copy of all of the tax documents.
