E-file fiasco

Very Frustrating Experience

The software seemed glitchy. I had multiple 401k rollover and it was asking me all this information once I got to the state tax. I don't think I really changed anything other than at some point exiting Turbo Tax and then opening it again for it to either accept what I put previously or simply say I did not have any errors anymore. To be clear no updates have occurred between these times. I have used Turbo Tax to do my taxes for the 20+ years. I am so frustrated that I would rather pay a tax professional next year.

I just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to remove a state return, because choosing the do not e-file state return did not work --at the end the software kept wanting me to pay $25 to save me a trip to the post office. Sorry, I prefer to keep that $25 for a 5 minute chore. That's more than I get paid at my real job!

THE PROGRAM IS USER FRIENDLY AND MAKES FILING YOUR TAXES A BREEZE. IT WILL SHOW YOU WHAT TO REVIEW AND LET YOU GO BACK AND MAKE AS MANY CHANGES AS NEEDED. WILL ALWAYS USE TURBO TAX.
