Could not decide between 2 and 3 stars

It feels clunky, and I realize I may not move past standard deduction for years if ever.
I may have saved seconds by having some info replicated year over year, then I lost it having to dive thru extra layers of id-security.

but the kicker.. the reason I just didnt pay by 50 bucks this year and move in, is that suddenly I'm pying for Fed + state package up front AND getting hit 20 bucks for filing for state - nevermind that i still have to act for myself to get them their money - but then I'd charged another 20 for fed filing ...guarenttee? Not the filing (a separate line item "included!!" but the promise they did it right cost me 20 bucks with no options out.
That feel oily. Unless something substantial changes in the next tax year I'll be going to a human agent if I cant manage myself

hard to upload last year return pdf

fitrst 3 attempts failed when uploadng 2020.pdf - had to process the whole return over again to generate a new pdf identical to last year's. am trying to uppload again in order to start on 2021 return

Turbo Tax is going downhill

Been using this for decades. This year was worse than all the others. It's just getting wonkier and lazy. Too hard to know what some things are and having us go back and forth to our old returns for answers. It used to populate from our last year return - fairly easy. Not this year. Oh well.....shopping for an alternative now for next year.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
