YOU WIPED MY 2020 TAX RETURN/ EXT WHEN I CAME BACK AND HAD TO PAY 80 TO D/L SOFTWARE AND START ALL OVER.... AND YOU WILL NOT GIVE MY MY AGI FROM THE YR BEFORE CAUSE I WOULD HAVE TO START 2020 TAXES ALL OVER AGAIN ONLINE AND NOW RE-ENTER ALL THE INFO (WHICH WONT AN OPTION BEFORE) B4 YOU MIGHT LET ME SEE MY PRIOR YR FORMS??????????????????? AFTER THIS I AM NO LONGER YOUR CUSTOMER!

Better Than Manual; Imperfect with Bugs

Took through March for TurboTax to update a critical item related to IRA Covid relief withdrawals, preventing early filing (though IRS had finished the rule update weeks earlier); bugs and quirks prevent easy, consistent navigation to question areas (must work sequentially over already-entered data within certain sections); and the e-file does not always work, even though all security data is correct and aligned with IRS.

All Good until E-file.

Really smooth process until the e-file. Made 4 attempts to e-file my parents return. Pretty straight forward. All entries were double checked, and it was rejected all 4 times. Had to paper file, which will significantly delay receipt of their refund. Not really happy right now. Ease of use is supposed to be a strength of Turbo-Tax. First hiccup I've had.

Your free tax software appears to never be free. Even with a deluxe purchase there always seems to be a charge for something. That's crap. Even helping my Uncle with the simple tax return of $30,000 income, fees upon fees upon fees. That's stupid

Having forms available is a really nice feature. Having to update the program every time you go to log in is a pain.

Turbotax2021 asks for same information several times. I'm normally very happy with this software but these days there's no need for repeated prompts of previously entered information.
