Good but 3 Problems with Program This Year

The program was generally good, but I had 3 problem areas this year that I have never had before and needed help from the Professional Help Line.
1. For many days I was unable to enter our Social Security data for SSA-1099 for Box 5. I could enter data in all of the other blocks on that form but for Box 5 (but did not need to); I tried 5 or 6 dozen times!
2. I had made the wrong answer for confirming the Economic Impact Payments. I thought that we had received only 1 payment and inadvertently entered the need for an additional 1,400 refund. I subsequently learned that was wrong abut could not figure out how to undo the 1,400 entry.
While I was on the phone with the help line, the program magically allowed me to enter the Box 5 data for SSA-1099 and the representative had only to get me to the place to remove the erroneous 1,400 Economic Impact Payment.
3. Tonight I was unable to enter Long Term Care Premiums in the proper box for my Alabama return. I worked around that by entering it as a miscellaneous deduction.
I have used TurboTax for many (likely 20 or so) years, and this was the first time that I ever had difficulty with the program and needed the professional help line.

iI have been doing taxes by myself ALWAYS . . . saving thousands by not going to the Tax goombas . . . who are great, but pricey.

Almost perfect!

Everything was great except I did not find an entry point for Letter 6419 o r 6475 when working through the forms. I checked only self and spouse on Filing Married Joint. Yet, at the review error messages came up about these forms which were quite confusing. Could be a whole lot better in this area. Long time TurboTax Deluxe user and will use again.

Disappointed In Turbo Tax

Been using TurboTax for many years now and this time it was absolutely horrible. I will be going elsewhere to get my taxes done next year. So many hoops that I had to jump through this year just to file.

Unable to file because Fed refund too low

I couldn't use e-file for my State return because my FED return was too low. That in itself is idiotic but to salt the wound, Intuit's password requirements mean I can't always remember my password and I end up changing it or after many days of attempts, finally guess correctly.
Because of this, I couldn't pay with a CC either. Congratulations Intuit, no money for you! I'm not going to spend days to spend money on you!
NO AD BLOCKERS?! So now a company that I AM PAYING is abusing my Internet Feed with AD's and other misc. scripts AT MY EXPENSE?!

Simplicity, concise explanations and fair prices!

I choose Turbo Tax, because of the simple guidance and explanations needed to file my own taxes with ease without paying a large sum and additional fees to other taxpayer services. The price and simplicity keeps me coming back to this tax filing software for the last few years. It's also interesting to learn the various taxable incomes and deductions I could have earn or attain in a given year.

I said no to the audit defense and it added it anyway using a different terminology to hide the fact that I was paying for something I had specifically declined.
