Worse and Worse Every Year

TT didn't import last year's Turbo Tax file, rather I had to upload the PDF so a lot of details were lost. I have turbo tax files dating back to 1995 and I have no idea why I keep returning. The interface is "just OK", and the software is less and less capable of transferring data from year to year. I tried to install last year's TT software on my new computer and that was a nightmare (you've got to change video resolution to 800x600, then to 1024x768, then back to 800x600 before it will install. After installing, I received an error message when it tried to download the state files. I was completely unable to view my 2020 tax return via turbo tax and I finally had to give up. The whole thing is a mess.

It would be nice if you could efile a late return, when you try to follow the efile prompts, it just puts you in the runaround to efile then you have to go back to print. Then you get annoying things like the AGI is not pulled through to your next return.

First time being frustrated with Turbo Tax

I've been a long time TT user. I have recommended the product to others who were using tax preparers and said that TT is more thorough and comprehensive than any human. But this year I was frustrated because I changed computers and it could not find my old AGI.

Turbo tax gives a sense of confidence

I have been using Turbo tax for almost 10 years. I have felt at ease after having used this software. Unfortunately I was audited when I filed for one year. And the Turbo tax people came to the rescued. I have a sense of confidence.
