My Turbo Tax Experience

I've used Turbo Tax for over a decade. Not once in that time did I have a problem. This year, after starting my 2021 returns, (my OS is Windows 10), I saved my files. The next day, I tried to open Turbo Tax again, but ran into a dialog that said the program was running under another account: it would not continue. Long story short, I installed a copy of my OS and ran the program again. After it had some issue with connecting to my internet connection (which was operating just fine), I succeeded in opening my 2021 return. I had no more trouble with the program. I am the only user of my computer and there should be no other accounts. I do have two login logos on my login screen (both with my name) if that might be the cause of the problem.

If I knew the hassle in terms of filing electronically and paying for this subscription, I would never have done it in the first place. Just another way of getting the poor people pay for something they do not need.
