Wishing for a couple of improvements

Would like to search for key words on a page (including forms) via ctrl-F. Would also like to be able to understand certain calculations better -- such as Line 5 of Schedule 8812 (i.e. link show the worksheet). Finally, would like to understand (quick side/side "what if") what would have happened if something were different -- such as not taking the advance on child tax credit or signing up for FSA or other.

Removes Stress from Tax Filing

Been a TurboTax user for many years and always come back to it because it is a trustworthy program and reduces the stress of tax filing. We typically owe and I handle the filing so I can wait until the filing deadline approaches and I know I can rely on TurboTax to help me get it done quickly and accurately every time. Plus the e-Filing is fantastic! Saves trees and lives :)

meh on state returns

Straightforward (my tax situation is not overly complicated anyway) but I'm always disappointed by the lackluster transfer of information between my federal return and my single state return. For instance i had some foreign stock investments that I paid a measly foreign tax on, and the state part of TurboTax was asking me to reenter details that the federal had already pulled from my broker account. Why couldn't TurboTax populate the state return for me??? The form from the broker is a labyrinth to navigate so that was aggravating.

Third Stimulus portion

The section on the third stimulus should have started with the question about receiving a letter from the IRS. The letter from the IRS did not state third stimulus and if you didnt know that was what it was turbo tax did not lead you there unless you answered yes you received it. IF the question had been did you receive the letter or did you receive the third stimulus.

Was not able to e-file!

Ive been using Turbotax for years without incident, not this year. I was not able to e-file my return, that kinda defeats the purpose of using the software. I verified it was not my computer or connect to the internet. Maybe the IRS, I don't know, but there should have been better support!
