OVERALL I LOVE TURBO TAX, ONLY TAX PROGRAM I WILL USE. WHAT I DISLIKE IS THAT EVERYTIME YOU LOG ONTO THE PROGRAM, YOU HAVE TO PUT UP WITH AN UPDATE. PAIN IN THE HINDSIDE! KINDA PRICY.

Some difficulty downloading pre-purchased Turbotax

The online download of my pre-purchased copy of Turbotax was less than satisfactory. I was able to figure out how to download but the steps noted in the pre-purchased copy of Turbotax were less than satisfactory and the online instructions of how to register my pre-purchased copy of Turbotax were less than satisfactory. Make it easier to register your pre-purchased copy of Turbotax would improve my rating. Additionally, rather than a pre-purchased CD (as many laptops no longer have CD drives, consider a USB drive.
Other than the registration of my pre-purchased copy of Turbotax, I have used Turbotax for several years and happy with the product.

It worked but has glitches

Overall the product is good but this year it would not allow me to save the tax return, kept giving message that file was locked not matter what I tried. All I could do was keep saving duplicates. I see online that customers have been complaining about this since at least 2020. Fix it!!

We have used Turbo Tax for years. Sometimes it has led us to a standard deduction and others it has helped us through the selling of our house, college expenses, selling family homes and moving the final time. Now our kids use it

two years in a row the IRS rejected return

Two years in a row the IRS rejected my return because it said the AGI did not match. The AGI that comes up is the same as Line 11 on the return. I had to file my return by mail.

The Turbo Tax Deluxe product is easy to use and provides good directions. I found only one area a bit confusing and that was Foreign Tax Credits and Income as a result of brokerage account reporting.
