Needs Improving

Have used TurboTax for several years, and this is the most bugged version I've encountered. Software grabbed wrong information for NC529 payment, therefore had to manually alter several form fields. Also, some of the questions asked were confusing and seemed out of order compared to previous year's software. Left us heavily considering using different tax software in the future.

SLOWEST PROCESS EVER

I had 14 W-2 forms to enter and, no lie, it took at least 45 minutes to enter each. had to wait several minutes for each field entry! That's 10 1/2 hours just to enter data! Unacceptable. No, it wasn't the computer or wifi. Definitely a software issue, but I had a deadline to meet so I fought through it. Will definitely be looking for another filing option next year!

TurboTax can be way more user friendly

Electronic payment for federal taxes NEVER worked for me, so I file federal electronically while sending a check, I also pay state by check because paying 25 bucks to file electronically is ridiculous. TurboTax should allow a quick way to print state only, while printing the minimal docs needed for the federal. To do this, you have to figure out what the page range is when printing, because there is no option to print only the state for mailing.

Minor issues

Turbotax Deluxe 2021 for desktop
1. Would like to scroll using touchscreen. using scroll bars was sometimes hit or miss
2. Several occasions where data could not be entered. Blue dot under data field.
Work-arounds include switching to form or signing in to Intuit
