Decent tax prep, HIGH state tax prices

The program does stupid things. First it asks for you to fill in your name and address, THEN it loads prior year's return and changes your address! Stupid. State tax return cost a whopping $45 just to get the forms and THEN $25 to efile it! Next year I'm doing state return by hand and saving $70. Used to get one state form for free (but would still cost to file)! Also asked me multiple times for the same credit card info, once to purchase the state return and another to file! It asked for my bank account info again, after I had already put up my info because it went on to a different subject. Too many brain dead things in this software and designers that know nothing about user experience.

Love Turbo Tax

Ease of use, easy of understanding, ability to find additional explanations quickly. Scrolling through each page of what you have or have not completed can get tedious with itemized deductions, but not a major issue.

Impossible to print and mail my state return
