It was helpful, but not all of the wording made things clear.
I still had to end up googling about 1/3 of the terms because it doesn't give a helpful explanation as to what some of the tax terms mean.

i use to be 100 percent confidant in my choice to use turbo tax and do my own taxes; more info on how to avoid owing taxes specfic to my return other than to adjust withholding,

TurboTax has a glitch that few will encounter

I have used TurboTax for many years with great satisfaction. I recently set up a trust fund from which I receive dividends so I now receive a Schedule K-1 that reports the portion of those dividends to include on my tax return. It also reports the foreign taxes paid by the securities in the fund. The IRS instructions for Schedule K-1 state that if these taxes are less than a certain amount, they may be entered as a tax credit; otherwise they must be entered as an income deduction. My fund's foreign taxes are very small, but TurboTax does not provide the choice between reporting them as a tax credit or deduction. It only treats them as a deduction, which would not be my choice. If not for that issue, I would give TurboTax an excellent rating.
