not as easy as they make it sound, couldn't handle some of the simple codes on my W2s, and charges for the "free" state filing. Not impressed.

All is OK except paying an extra fee of $25.00. I paid Turbo Tax for one state filing as free. No where to question that!

Turbo Tax is user friendly with help buttons along the way that provide explanation when you are unclear. It's a tool that makes the annual task of filing easy.

Your product is definitely easier than the "service" I used last year, but I felt I got hit with that unexpected fee at the end. My printer isn't working, so I had no choice but to cough up the extra charge. Made me a little resentful...

Room for improvement

You should announce cost of State filing before people start filing. The online version has functionality where you only work through the forms you need to based on a few simple questions the program asks for. The desktop version makes the user scroll though all the forms and choose which ones they need to complete, it can feel overwhelming. Upload function on all the forms sections would be great, that way users don't have to replicate data from the forms into TurboTax.

You make filing tax returns easy!

I have used TurboTax to prepare and file my federal and state tax returns for more than 10 years. The only challenge for me is ensuring I have all the input documents on hand. I would never attempt to prepare my own return without TurboTax. I have confidence that I am covering all the current requirements when I use this software. I especially appreciate its ability to download tax form data from multiple financial firms. Being able to save pdf copies and print returns ensures I have quality copies of all my returns. Being able to get Audit Defense for a few more bucks gives me even more confidence when I file. Thanks, TurboTax!
