Turbo Tax is great!

Not happy with the way TurboTax Deluxe handled the fact that I had W-2Gs from a state other than my home state. Even though TurboTax Deluxe ultimately did not file a return for the state where I received the W-2Gs the TurboTax Deluxe handling established the W-2G issued state as the primary state and forced me to additionally buy my home state for $45 + tax and charged me $25 to e-file in my home state. I call it a "Nickel and Dime" process. Furthermore, while there was very little data to enter for the W-2Gs, the process was very slow taking an average of 8 minutes per W-2G to enter - I had 17 entries therefore the process of entering the W-2Gs took more than 2 hours! Never again will I use TurboTax Deluxe. Instead I will be using a local tax professional.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it easy to use and pretty thorough in every step of preparation. I had one error with automatic Federal to State information transfer, which was found on error check at the end.
I am disappointed Turbo Tax doesn't support tax preparation for gift to minor form completion, which I will need for the coming year.

Turbo Tax Filing

I have been using Turbo Tax to file my yearly taxes. The information provided is very useful. I like the fact that filing is convenient and does not require pouring over paper documentation in order to complete the task. One can take one's time executing the software without having to sit for hours in a tax preparer's office.
