Sucks on IL State Taxes

Could not access to IL Form ICR even though real estate taxes itemized on federal return. Kept getting errors and could not back into it. At least, I could print for easier filing with state. Waste of the extra $ 10

TurboTax, useful, raw and clunky

TurboTax remains useful and one of the few ways to reasonably file from home.
Clunky examples:
Screens don't resize, some text in image form so can't copy out. Some fields, such as payment date, provides no date selector or guidance on format (or should I type "today"). Instructions for paying state taxes are not clear and require exploration. There are too many opportunities to save and review at the end. Reviewing is fine, but along the way tell me I can wait till the end to actually save the final copy.

SUBMITTING THIS REVIEW didn't even work, claiming an ad-blocker was preventing submission. I'm donating my time by submitting this to improve TurboTax, and I have to deal with these annoyances and type the review a second time!??! Website should figure this out wll before I get through typing everything!!! Now on my 4thd attempt & retype, this review site didn't even work in Chrome or Edge!! Shame on Intuit wasting our time.

Advice & tips on how to make "next time" easier, such as how and where to save documents throughout the year. After all, collecting the documents takes almost half the time and frustration of the effort.

Easy Filing Process and User-Friendly Program

Turbo Tax was easy to maneuver. I was able to file my Federal and State tax returns from my home computer. After I filled in all the information, Turbo Tax reviewed my return before e-filing.
