Questions need to be more concise. Answering some could go either way - like the SSA exempt section. Was referred back no less than 5 times to fill in an advance child tax credit amount. At our ages, there wouldn't be an amount. Worst, is my last year's AGI should have been close to the two years prior and this year's calculation, but was 5 figures lower than this year's with no real changes in our income and deductions. Hope I don't "hear" from the IRS.

The charge to pay for state efiling is rediculous

Standard deduction versus Itemized deductions.

It will be helpful if the program shows the difference between the standard and itemized deduction. The problem arises when you have finished inserting all the itemized deductions the standard deduction is recommended.

Turbo Tax Every Year

I have used Turbotax for many years and I really appreciate the consistency in process and in carrying data over from year to year. Some years my return is simple but I still like reviewing the steps to refresh my understanding of tax policy at the state and federal level

Always at least one glitch

During the "review" process, it always manages to find something stupid, like too many characters in a Payor or some unchecked box. Then there is no easy way to fix it during the review process...and the form was just a worksheet that didn't need to be filed and it held up electronic filing!

TurboTax does the job

Did two returns this year with no issues. My main issue with TT is the way the charge for State tax filing is disguised until the end and the charge is ridiculously high.
