turbo tax is not transparent with fees

Turbo tax does not tell you to mail in the voucher with my state taxes until you agree to pay $25 for electronic filing the State, if I knew that I would of just mailed them in, and saved my $25 fee. Once you fill out everything to electronically file and agree to the $25 fee, then they tell you that you have to mail in a voucher. Which I would just rather mail it all in, and save the $25. I will try to get my money back and do this but I doubt it will be easy.

Used to be simpler and more reliable

Have been using TurboTax for 20+ years. Last year was the first time my federal return/refund was delayed. My refund ultimately came back with around $800 less of a refund than what I expected. The IRS reason given was "recovery rebate credit." Someone fraudulently tried to obtain unemployment benefits last year using my credentials. Wondering if my federal was hacked as well. Keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well this year with my filings.
