Turbo tax Disappointed again!

TurboTax did not pull up my info from the previous year's return and the license code included with the CD did not work on multiple downloads (even though it says good for up to 5 federal e-files)!!!
Very disappointed.
Will look for alternate options next year!

Disappointing this year

I have been pleased with Turbotax in the past. However this year was somewhat frustrating. I was unable to pull up information about the Economic Impact. It took me some searching online to determine that I did not qualify. But I would have preferred that Turbotax tell me that. My husband and I received letters from the IRS stains that we would get funds but apparently that was based on our 2020 income.
For the Maryland return Turbotax said I was done but I wasn't. We had made contributions to a 529 program for which we qualified for a tax deduction. Turbotax never asked about this. I had to search within the Turbotax program to find out how to enter this information. It took some time but I did finally figure it out. That should not have been necessary.

TT isn't as user friendly as it used to be.

I got hit with an "oops" from the IRS for 2019 with TT. One of us didn't ask enough questions like they have for the 10 years plus that I have been using your assistance. At least my investment counselor and a CPA friend helped us out of this mess and now am awaiting another for 2020! The other shoe drops! I think that this year I may have provided the answers that I wasn't asked in 2019 or 2020. I may need to "take a year off" from TT in 2022!
