The refrigerator looks perfect in our kitchen! Love the French doors and the room to open the doors wide with limited space in our kitchen. The slate finish also matches perfect with our other GE appliances we purchased 5 years ago. We loved our other GE refrigerator too, so it’s now in the garage as a backup!

This is an amazing refrigerator. Very quiet, makes ice and I can drink filtered water. Installation takes about 15 minutes and it looks great. Thank you GE:)

When nothing else would fit

The French-door counter-depth GE refrigerator was the only one that would fit in our kitchen. So far the GE refrigerator has been flawless. Going from a side-by-side to the 3 door French-door style has required a bit of a learning curve as trying to remember that the left door is not the freezer but part of the refrigerator. The door design for the outside water and ice dispensers really is convenient. Shelving is pretty good too with a handy retracting shelf that accommodates tall containers like juice, milk, or wine.
The only drawback thus far is the noises it makes. It hums, whistles, groans, wines, and many other sounds. They aren't particularly loud, but they do take some getting used to. It was much more than I wanted to spend on a refrigerator, but when your backup fridge has no room... what are you supposed to do?
