I love my refrigerator. The design does have some user issues. I had to totally remove the top half shelf in one side to accommodate the tall products like milk, creamer etc. The freezer isn’t really very big. In my case it’s not a huge issue as I have a deep freeze, but if this freezer was all I had there is no way it would work. The motor and fan is much louder than my previous one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our new condo had the regular refrigerator and we wanted one with an ice and water dispenser on the outside of the door. We paid extra and it is well worth the cost.

We waited 8 mos for our refrigerator. Then the ice maker wasn't working. Ge repairman had to it take apart and connect the fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GLAD to say I was wrong.

Doing a kitchen renovation so I bought the microwave, stove, and refrigerator. I've reviewed the stove which was a HUGE hit with me but I was inititally somewhat disappointed with the refrigerator.
It's small but I'd intentionally bought it because we have a small kitchen so that was ok but what was disappointing was it didn't consistently make/dispense ice and water which was one of the main features I wanted. Furthermore the inside light didn't always come on. WHAT!!??!! And the skimpy manual was of little use. However I'd read in the manual that if water failed to be dispensed it could be the water filter. But this is a new refrigerator! How could it be the water filter? But I removed it and reinstalled and suddenly things changed. The began staying on and I can go get water now pretty much anytime I pleased without being disappointed.
I think the problem with this refrigerator was GE didn't do enough in their User's Manual because I also experienced a problem a customer experienced with the door handles coming off. Manual says to wait until you hear a "click". Well actually it's more of a resounding "POP". I got my doors to stay on by accident and the tiny click isn't what you're listening for because ones that bad boy POPS that handle will stay on.
My advice is to CAREFULLY READ AND FOLLOW the manual and chances are you'll fall in love with your refrigerator the way I have. It's a tough little machine that will do what it's been designed to do with aplomb. But shame on GE for not putting enough into their manual.

Very good refrigerator

This GE refrigerator is beautiful and streamlined. The water and ice maker features work well and are efficient. The space inside could be better organized, perhaps more shelving height options to better utilize some of them. Same goes for the freezer. However, while we have less space than we previously did with our last refrigerator, this one is definitely superior in almost every other way.
