The compressor is too loud, can not sit in kitchen while it is running.

Depending on the placement of the refrigerator in your kitchen, you may want to place a piece of rubber backed carpet beneath the refrigerator to help reduce the sounds. We hope this helps. - Sharon@GEA

Not very happy

So I have had a couple of GE's and will not choose one again even though I like the color,
and I like the counter depth. We were very limited in choices because of width of our space. The thing I dislike the MOST IS THE NOISE! We have had GE come out and say that is the way it is, and several customers have complained about it with this model. The reason we have this one is the compressor went out in the other GE after just 4 years which I guess is the new norm .Filters are too expensive!

The shelves in the door are way too small. The beeping sound from the front panel stops and starts all the time … most annoying! Hate this fridge . Totally regret buying it. Rust spots appeared on the outside after two months!
