Works well as expected but!

Keeps cold as expected BUT very noisy. No other refrigerator we have ever owned has made so much noise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Refrigerator

Overall, just what I needed for a very unique space. This model has everything I need for a 2-person household, and fit just right into a space designed for a 1975 house. However, I felt it was extremely expensive, less energy efficient, and it a bit noisier than other, older models I've owned over the years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Left door squeaks loudly on 2 out of 2 fridges...

My 1st fridge of this model was delivered 10/30/21. After setting it up I discovered the left door squeeked loudly when opened. I immediately called for a replacement as it was also running loudly. My replacement fridge was delivered 11/20/21 and had the exact same loud squeak. This is obviously an engineering issue as I am not that lucky. I have a GE tech coming next week to see what they can do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello - Thanks for the review. We're very sorry that your new refrigerator is running loud and that the door squeaks. We can totally understand how much of a headache this must be for you.
On new refrigerators, it's not unusual for the door to squeak. This occurs because the gasket is sealing very tightly. If the noise becomes bothersome, try rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly on the gasket. This noise will stop in a few days once the gasket becomes more pliable.

This fridge fits perfectly in our kitchen. Ample space, love the turbo cool feature. The placement of the ice maker in the door leaves a lot of extra space in the freezer.

Bad Experience

After about a year and a few months, we had this fixed 4 times. All for the same issue. Each time they came out it was always something else but the same problem existed. And sometimes it was months for a tech to show. Finally had to demand a new replacement. 11/18/21 we'll see how this one goes.

First time we tried to open the freezer, the whole handle came off. We read the manual and finally figured out how to get it back on securely. Only other comment is that the freezer freezes ice cream hard as a rock. We have it turned up as high as it will go. Everything else is great.
