First the water filter would not fit. It poured water all over the refrigerator and our floor. The it started making a horrible noise. Sounded as if it was going to go out on us and we had only had it two days. Of course, the retailer does not make it good. You have to go to the GE service people even if you have not had the appliance more than two days. What a disappointment.

Compact counter depth fridge

I love the compactness of this fridge. It looks nice the space but more expensive than most other fridges. The only problem is I am beginning to hear some abnormal noise from the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small size, BIG features!

We originally were going to replace our 20 + year old GE refrigerator with a smaller one. After doing much looking and back and forth discussions we realized we didn't want to give up the ice and water through the door. We were hard-pressed to find a model in this smaller counter depth size with this feature. It's so quiet and seems like it hardly runs when compared to our old GE fridge. The fact it is counter depth gave us about 5 inches more room in our tiny galley style kitchen.
My only complaint is the writing on the front panel for ice/water is hard to read but that is minimal and was not a deciding factor on the purchase.

Exceeded expectations!

This is my introduction to this style of fridge/freezer combo. I'm coming off of a long history with my trusty Kenmore freezer top, old school combo appliance (15+ years). I went through so many reviews on this and other appliances and hesitated based on the negatives I kept seeing, but went for it. I chose this on its compact size (my kitchen is incredibly small overall), the pull-out bottom freezer feature, and the fact that fingerprints don't matter (mom of two + 1 curious pup). Also want to point out that this is NOT LOUD at all in comparison to my last appliance which sounded like it was angry all the time, ha. I was worried based off of reviews. Also, the ice maker and water feature do not spill over much more than one might experience while washing the dishes (in terms of spillage). My expectations were low to begin with, but I am in love with this thing. Not to mention the energy star certification has proved it's stamp. My bill has gone down quite a bit. All in all, zero complaints. I'm so happy with this!

I was limited on space in my kitchen remodel and had a hard time finding a 33 inch counter depth refrigerator so settled with this one. its very noisy, small inside and the worst part is I couldn't get it with the no fingerprint stainless. I would not buy this model again..
