Works well.. Love the slate color that blends with my counter..I have only 33 inch to fit a fridge so it's smaller than new models and hard to find. GE makes a great one that has the extra shelves on the doors that are a great plus!

Unpleasantly surprised at the quality, expected better from GE. This fridge was our only choice due to size limitations - doors rub when closing and plastic drawers are very flimsy…if you don’t grab from dead center when opening they get stuck…
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the French doors of your refrigerator are rubbing together, it's possible that they are uneven. Thankfully, these doors can be easily adjusted. This refrigerator replaced a 25 yr. old G E and so far we are very pleased with all features and it’s more stylish. We looked at other brands and styles but kept coming back to this one. We chose the fingerprint proof and we are extremely pleased with it. All of our appliances are G E and have been reliable. We also purchased a garage ready G E refrigerator soon after purchasing this one we’re very pleased with it also. Keep up the good work G E and we’ll keep purchasing your products.

Great features for the "counter depth" size we needed to fit our kitchen; it's the only counter depth model I know of with ice/water in the door. Likes: good lighting, shelves and drawers move easily enough, ice maker is compact, yet keeps up with demand, noise level is not objectionable, one retractable shelf for tall items, slate finish looks nice and is easy to keep clean, and the unit was packaged properly so it arrived in perfect condition. Things we're getting used to that are different from the old refrigerator: it runs most of the time, doors don't fall shut - gotta push them closed, and the fresh food compartment's side-by-side door arrangement means one need to know where things are inside or open both doors to find stuff. That's common to the French door design, and not a shortcoming of this model compared to other brands. Overall, we're very pleased with it.

Love the counter depth

So far all has gone well. Fits beautifully in our condos small kitchen. It has enough room for storing food for 2. My only complaint is the tray for the ice and water in the front. It is flat and any water that misses the glass immediately goes on the floor.
