We love our new Counter Depth fridge. Never had one with ice and water in the door and it’s a game changer, especially for all the grandkids… they can get their own water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broken freezer door handle

Keeps food cold. looks nice. ample storage, but freezer door handle brook off due to flimsy plastic parts. We did not abuse this in any way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just a few disappointments

Same overall size as prior fridge, but much less capacity inside. This is probably due to the insulation required for EnergyStar as well as the ice maker in the left door. Freezer is much smaller, automatic slide-out shelf can be annoying. Hard to read the unlit buttons on the front. Door dispenser works well, but we only got this model due to current shortages; would rather have the increased interior space. Some tall bottles will not fit unless one shelf is removed. No butter keeper.

Hi - Thank you for reaching out and sharing your insights into your new GE refrigerator. Having a wall on either side can certainly impede you being able to remove certain components in the refrigerator like the full-width deli tray and the ice bin which is located on the inside of the left door.
What might work for you, is to open the right hand door fully, then open the left hand door as far as possible. Pull down on the icemaker latch and open the icemaker compartment door. Then check and see if you have the available space to remove the ice bin. While it's certainly not ideal, given your space limitation it may just work for you. We do hope this helps. Vikki@GEA
