Works great. Doors could close easier

We like it except we are used to doors closing easier. These don't close very easily.

This refrigerator is ok, nothing great. The freezer is poorly designed and is small.

Time will tell

Our first GE appliance, time will tell how well it performs and holds up. We had a Samsung 4dr French with icemaker for about 8 years. It was a nightmare as the icemaker froze up many times even after being replaced under warranty 3 times! Then Samsung couldn't find anyone to work on it and offered 1/3 of the price to buy it back! No deal! We put up with defrosting it with a hair dryer it for several years then finally threw in the towel when the fan tower in the back of the fridge started to freeze up too. After a week the only thing we don't like about this GE fridge is the water and ice dispenser panel labels on the front of fridge are not readable unless you bend down to eye level to be able read them.

We want to assist you with the sound level of your refrigerator. We recommend making sure the adjustable legs at the front corners are set so that the refrigerator is firmly positioned on the floor, with the front slightly raised. This slight tilt allows the door to close easily when opened halfway. To adjust the leveling legs, turn them clockwise to raise the refrigerator and counterclockwise to lower it.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend scheduling service with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-426-3393 or visiting us online at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.
Regarding the water and ice plates, since they are a cosmetic issue and not an operational issue, we cannot repair this. However we will pass your comments to our product design team to review

I really wish there were more refrigerator door shelves and that ones that do exist were more functional. One of them is so narrow there is almost nothing that fits in it. There is room for at least another inch, which would make it far more useful.
The freezer part is fine but overall I wish it had some
separation features so you don’t constantly lose things.
