Really disappointed so far

Really disappointed in this fridge and mainly writing to help others reconsider before spending big money on this. The one I have is new and is part of newly renovated home that I purchased and it's just frustrating to use. First, it's noisy as other reviews have said. Runs almost constantly, and seems to do a regular "rev" thing like a car changing gears - that goes on and on for hours and that particular repeated reving as opposed to a steady drone frays my nerves. I went through reprogramming the temperatures and it went away for a while, but is back a short while later. I've troubleshot, but without luck so far. Secondly, the door squawk others have mentioned when opening the left door. I've put vaseline on the gaskets as mentioned and that has fixed it so far, but seriously - putting vaseline on a fridge door? Be very careful if you use the ice machine as it's hard to do so without some spilling in floor - especially the crushed. I've previously had fridges of similar size and this one seems to hold so much less due to layout. Shelves on left door are so small to be mostly useless except for smallest of containers - and might be better removed so that they don't keep hitting stuff on the shelves on the back of the fridge. Ergonomically, there's lots of problems that make it frustrating to get in and out of. Doors are floppy and at same time resist closing. Getting into the vegetable drawers is frustrating as you have to open doors all the way to pull drawers out, and smallish drawers don't hold very much. Panel on front very difficult to read for pressing buttons for water, ice, crushed, etc. I guess after living with the fridge for about a week I'm frustrated with it - wondering if I'm going to need to replace a brand new fridge. I guess my advice is to think twice before buying this and play around with what it's like to use it in real life situations.

Closed system leak.

Am very disappointed with my GE refrigerator. I had it for only 2 months when I noticed moisture and ice in the refrigerator. Repair tech found a closed system leak, failure of freezer door to close securely, and fan which runs continuously without stopping. Am currently trying to negotiate. Looks dismal.

Very unhappy. This fridge is SO loud. Perhaps it is because the ice machine is in the door but the sound this fridge makes can be heard from about 800 ft away in my house. It is the loudest appliance I have ever had and makes kitchen conversations and listening to music while doing the dishes unenjoyable.

Purchased this fridge in October 2019. Luckily we bought the extended warranty. We've had repair people out 3 times in the past 4 years. This last time we are waiting on repair since the compressor is no longer working. Luckily we have a garage fridge that is super old and functional. This fridge is pretty but she's small. It's like playing tetris every time you grocery shop. The shelves and bins are cheaply made. We have cracks all over. The water dispenser drips. The freezer fits barely anything and is a pain to organize. Save your money and buy any other brand.

Freezer issue

Door handle for freezer already loose. Last one fell off. Freezer not staying cold. Had to restart breaker. Not even here since June 25.

Leaks

We just had it installed last month and it leaks since we received it. It leaks so that a small ice sheet forms inside the bottom of the freezer. Then that ice block slowly leaks. Very frustrating.
