Disappointed with the size and control panel

I wanted to buy GE because of the good reviews about the brand. The refrigerator I purchased ended up being considerably smaller than my previous appliance in the exact same space. I’m truly disappointed. I also encountered a problem with the control panel located above the ice maker, it beeps randomly and will not stop (regardless of temperature settings) until I unplug it. If my kitchen space allowed for a larger refrigerator I would return this one for a different GE model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fault codes are programmed in many electronic refrigerator dispenser controls. These error, fault and function codes help GE Appliances service technicians quickly diagnose issues with the refrigerator. A flashing green error, fault or function code will be displayed on the control panel when a failure has been detected. This will be accompanied by a beep.
Below, we have listed the most common refrigerator error, fault and function codes and their definitions. Not all codes are listed below since they cannot be resolved without a technician.
- FF Check frozen food for thawing because the temperature is rising too high.
- PF The power to the refrigerator has been interrupted.
- CI Check the icemaker for proper operation.
- DE Demo mode. This mode enables normal light and controls functionality while disabling the cooling system. To deactivate the Demo mode, first try unplugging the refrigerator from power for a minute or two, then plug back in. If DE code is still displayed, please Contact Us with the model number of your refrigerator.
- dE The defrost system has not operated properly in the last 24 hours.
- CC Check the temperature controls because the temperature for the refrigerator is incorrect.
Normal Operation Codes for Refrigerators- The following may appear to be fault codes, but are normal:
- tC: If the temperature display shows a tC (could look like an EC, an upside down F with a C or something similar), this is not an error code, it is the Turbo Cool (tC) setting indicator.
- tF: If the temperature display shows a tF (could look like an EF, an upside down F with an F or something similar), this is not an error code, it is the Turbo Freeze (tF) setting indicator.
Before calling service, sometimes disconnecting power to the refrigerator for 30 seconds will clear the fault, error or function code. However, there are some cases when service may be required. For service, please schedule an appointment with our factory service team by calling the Service Department directly at 1-800-432-2737, or by scheduling online at the following link: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.h

Store ordered the wrong refrigerator and I didn’t notice right away. They will not exchange it. This refrigerator is too small.
The dishwasher is OK. It broke 3 glasses the first 3 time we used it.
Range and microwave are fine.

Love the interior lighting.

I’ve had this fridge for three days now. I’ll attempt another review in the future. The fridge made all the clicking, whirling and whooshing sounds as stated in the owners manual. After the first 24 hours of operation, all those sounds have subsided as the fridge “stabilized”.
I have a two person household and the fridge is the perfect size. I did my research and read of the customer reviews so I was not surprised to know that the water filter replacement is a bit pricy and should be replaced twice a year.

Bins on the left side of the door are too small to hold anything. The shelves inside don’t hold anything tall. The ice bin doesn’t hold much. The fruit/vegetable bins are cheap and small.
The look is very nice but, make sure you have another refrigerator because it doesn’t fit much!
