Great fridge, until it started rusting 6 years in!

Great fridge, until the left door started rusting in its 6th year! Not sure why we see such corrosion—we surface clean with stainless cleaner, but the rust spot has eaten into the metal! It’s noticeable from a distance. GE didn’t have any recommendations or help to offer—s since its unrelated to quality or manufacturing. Frustrating to say the least!

Freezer issue

Door handle for freezer already loose. Last one fell off. Freezer not staying cold. Had to restart breaker. Not even here since June 25.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If your bottom freezer refrigerator handle is loose, or even falls off after use, it was not installed properly by the owner or installer. Some bottom freezer refrigerator handles are not factory-installed. The handles are installed by the owner or installer as directed in the Installation Instruction.
