Love the cabinet depth

counter depth SS refrigerator

My previous refrigerator was GE and it lasted 20 years until it could no longer hold a Freon charge. So wanting another American brand I purchased another GE french door with water and ice cube insert refrigerator with a bottom drawer freezer.
The temperature settings for the refrigerator and freezer are holding steady.
It's quieter than the old one.
The only complaint is the fruit and vegetable as well as the lunch meat tray does not slide as smoothly as the old refrigerator. It appears to be a cheap installation since it sticks when removing the trays. You have to lift the trays up to get them to smoothly operate.
The freezer drawers work very smoothly for being in a freezing environment.

Love the Black Slate

Although concerned that I would not like the counter depth size prior to ordering, it is ideal for my needs. I can see exactly what I have on hand. Nothing gets lost in the depths of it like in my older refrigerator. It love the Black Slate finish. When I first discovered this in the larger models, I was disappointed that it wasn't available in the 33" size other than the counter depth. Since I intended to keep my old refrigerator anyway, I took the plunge. I love it. It makes ice quickly and runs quietly. The bottom freezer is small but I have a chest freezer and my spare fridge to store extras so that didn't concern me either. I have noticed a couple of times that when pulling the doors to open, I can move the whole unit forward. Perhaps there is a wheel lock that I am not aware of to help with this occasional non-problem. Otherwise, I am totally happy with this model.

With no spout and no drain “not even a well” leaves the ice maker and water function “unfunctional”
