Lousy refrigerator

Ice maker has never worked properly, Was never told about having to buy expensive filters that you can only get thru GE. To have some one come out at look at the ice maker is very expensive. They want you to by extended warranties. They know their products do not last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Refrigerator ever!!!

Worst ever! Ruining our life! Freezer temp runs -7 to -16, even though we have it set at the max of 6. Ice cream so hard it can't be scooped. Makes a loud 59 db noise at a horrible pitch of B flat that is deafening. Then adds another vibration noise from the ice maker. It is making us insane. Waiting on a service call, but we don't have high hopes. This is a nightmare! On the plus side, the fingerprint resistant coating is great: should look good when I shoot a hole in the front of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big change from previous model

Product is not square.
Shelves are slanted and also not butting up to each other squarely. Product was delivered with dent on right door and installer took picture and note on delivery ticket. No butter storage shelf on door like one in showroom.

Panel poorly lit

Control panel very hard to read on stainless steel , selections should be lit up , indicator light not good enough to see , had to put white tape on cube, crush, water to see selections !!

How can I reset fridge temp?

So far so good since it was just installed today. However, in removing a sticker on control panel I accidentally increased temperature setting for fridge and now can't lower it! So temp now will read 44°F, instead of factory setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WELL I JUST PURCHASED 3 APPLIANCES... ALL GE. The fridge is okay but the water dispenser leaks at times. I am not too happy with this fridge. It is NOT worth the money. The inside with the CHEAP PLASTIC needs to be replaced. That cheapens the whole thing. You are better off with a Maytag or Frigidaire, etc....

We want to help out with the leaking you are noticing on your refrigerator. It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. We have had this fridge for a week now. It looks great and we love the counter depth look so much better. We were worried about the ice machine keeping up but we haven’t ran out yet with our family of four. So far so good!
