Could use improvement

The look and size is spacious which is great.
The filter ice and water nice and cold and taste fresh
The fridge does make a loud strange buzzing sound
At first I thought was the glass item I placed in the shelf door so I relocate them but sound is still there.
The bottom freezer cannot load items over the top shelf I learned the hard way. That obstructs the fan in freezer which then causes lots of freezer frost. So overall I rate a three for those two issues.

We are happy that you are loving the size and appearance of this refrigerator. The buzzing sound you are experiencing is normal during and after getting water from the door dispenser. The noise should not last longer than 7 seconds after you stop using the dispenser. We have also provided some other normal refrigerator noises/sounds at the link below. I love it!!! Looks great and very spacious inside. The ice maker is a little loud when it’s filling with water lot dumping ice… but the over all looks of the refrigerator far exceeds the slight noise of the ice maker!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good cooling and size - too noisy though

Refrigerator was professionally installed. Was making noise (like the compressor and fan clicking noise) from day one. Read up on the issue and I leveled using a spirit level front leveling feet. Noise reduced significantly, but still bothersome.
Put in a service call for GE Tech, took a week or so to get an appointment. The GE Tech came in and leveled some more to make the noise minimal. He adjusted by ear rather than spirit level making it reasonable quiet. Then a few days later when opening the door, the Fridge settles as if the leveling feet gave way and the loud noise was back. Wedged it some how to make the noise bearable put in a second call for the GE Tech. Waiting to see what happens with the noise.

As an Engineer myself, it seems like GE designed this refrigerator with a weak base frame (too flimsy), which twists easily causing moving parts (compressor and fan etc) to get misaligned. The front leveling feet are under sized and too flimsy.
I would've given it more starts for interior, overall functionality and cooling. But, never expected this kind of issue with an GE Refrigerator, which in my experience have been work horses!

The refrigerator/freezer is as advertised. Well packaged for a damage free shipment. So much blue tape. Works well and is very quite. It seems that more of the freezer space could be made available for food storage. The icemaker is pretty noisy too.

We have had the refrigerator for 2 weeks and so far we love it. While it is one of the smaller models, it has the water and ice dispenser on the door which we did not have before and we love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small inside!

We were so concerned about refrigerators height and width, did not think about depth. This refrigerator is small inside! Barely fits anything. Ice maker takes up a lot of space inside. Cannot even fit a pizza box. Paid a lot of moneh and we are not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this fridge for a week now. It looks great and we love the counter depth look so much better. We were worried about the ice machine keeping up but we haven’t ran out yet with our family of four. So far so good!
