Decent unit

Refrigerator is a little wobbly. The display is not illuminated so it is difficult to read in low lighting. The unit looks nice and has good features. The water dispenser does drip after use. It is noted in the manual to keep the glass there for a second to catch drips.

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

It was defective from day one and that was March 13, 2024. And it was on order since July 2023. The Sears Master Protection Agreement is a sad joke and not a funny one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Size is great for a small space. Had it for a few months and it has been working good sp far. The water and crushed ice dispensing could be better.

I'm really impressed with the GYE18JYLFS GE fridge. It has ample storage with well-designed shelves and spacious compartments, fitting seamlessly into my kitchen with its counter-depth design. Great features except ice storage in refrig. area

Cheap and poor quality. Ice capacity very small and recharge very slow.
The one that was delivered about a week ago hade dent in 2 doors and shelves were slanted toward the middle and could not be fixed to be square with the other shelf to the right or left. Solution eventually led to a complete new refrigerator after time was spent trying to fix all the problems.

Perfect for me

I downsized from a huge refrigerator because I am the only one left in my home. I love the fact that it doesn’t stick out in the room (counter depth). Although it takes some adjusting to, I can easily see and reach everything. The top of the fridge does not allow the small upper cupboards to open completely but that isn’t a big deal for what I store up there. It does not have an egg tray so I salvaged the one from my old fridge as I prefer not storing eggs in their carton. There is much less door storage but that turned out to be ok too.
