This refrigerator was delivered with a non-functioning water system and ice maker. The store is unable to find the part they believe is needed and can not give us an estimate of when it will be fixed. It has been over two weeks now and we still have no ice or water. They seem to be in no hurry and have not been good about communicating the status.
Additionally, this is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned. It does cool well. At this point, that is the only good thing I can say about this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's been 23 years since I have bought a new fridge. The one I replaced was also a GE. I love my new fridge. But I only gave it 4 stars. Because it is quite noisy. It rattles when running. My old fridge was so quiet all the way up until it died at 23 years old. Not this one. I have moved everything inside several times looking for anything rattling. And I have scoot it around in its space. I am getting used to it. But I would rather it where a lot quieter. One other thing to mention. We ordered this fridge mid-July 2022. And it finally arrived late October. The stove and dishwasher arrived in under 2 weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor policy.

Never will I buy again! Compressor quit in less then a year. Refrigerator is less then a year old. Will replace compressor but the smell will last forever. Tried everything to get rid of the smell, but no luck. Was hoping they would replace it. Just kept telling even though they would repair had no policy to replace because of smell. Clearly I wouldn't have the smell if not for their faulty part. So disappointed in this company. Never again

Noisy

It’s beautiful outside but small inside. Not enough space for 3 adults, too small. It makes a loud noise that goes on and off. Had this fridge just last 12/22/22 and we have to call for service already due to noise. Noise is loud enough that’s irritating.

Does not fit enough food

It’s tiny inside. The look takes up so much room there is barely enough space for the food. The ice maker is way too small and takes hours.
We had to get it because we had a space issue but I don’t recommend it.
