annoying features in design

words on screen hard to read. no backlighting. Door hinge/ spring doesn't close smoothly. It actually pushes door back open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the most part the refrigerator is ok. The vegetable drawer is too small...I cannot get a stalk of celery to fit even going crosswise and I buy a lot of fresh produce. The other drawer that is the full width of the refrigerator requires opening both doors so that is not an energy saver in my opinion. I don't like to keep milk in the doors, so that required moving a self up to make a self tall enough which left a skinny shelf. Water and ice in the door is great.

Use to always have GE products. This was not in stock so it was sight unseen because I need a certain size to fit in my kitchen. Everything about it is made very cheap. Didn’t have many choices.

Smallest 17.5 cu ft fridge I ever saw. I don't know how they came up with that, very small.
