CLEANING THE THING, 2: THE SIDE PANEL ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FRIDGE WAS NOT PROPERLY GLUED TIGHT (BUBBLE). INTERIOR- CHOPPED UP SO MUCH WITH TOO MANY TRAYS AND RACKS LEAVES NO ROOM FOR YOU TO PUT YOUR FOOD. AS MUCH AS I LOVE GE PRODUCTS THIS ONE IS A VERY POOR DESIGN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice, sleek look

Due to space limitations, this was the only GE fridge that would work in our kitchen. The slate color goes very well with our new countertop and updated cabinets. The counter depth works well with our space but can be a drawback since it isn’t very deep. For instance, you couldn’t fit a large takeout pizza box in there. Our previous appliances were 25 years old but seems like the new fridge is not made as well as the old one. For example, the interior shelving in both fridge & bottom freezer seem flimsy. We’ve only had the fridge for a month and seems fine but has been an adjustment getting used to the new counter depth layout with freezer on the bottom. I’m glad we have a small chest freezer in the garage because there’s not much storage space in this freezer.

We wish it was a bit larger. Sufficient for two , but use other fridges and freezers whenever family comes.
