This fridge looks beautiful and only reason for buying was size limitations for installation. Well lit interior and even though it is .5 sq ft larger than old freezer up single door fridge it has less food storage space. Will know more after we've had it awhile but right now (installed 1 hour ago) all is well.

New GE Refrigerator Owner

The GE refrigerator has been running just 4 days and is very noisy. The compressor is quiet but there is another growling noise over the compressor noise that is very annoying. This noise comes and goes whether the compressor is running or not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have been happy with this purchase so far. We haven't been able to find an adapter for the water line since the sink hose and the hose provided for the water/ice make are different. Other than than, the only partial complaint is that the freezer gets a little frosty, even when making sure the door is closed properly. I hope this doesn't become a problem later on.

We're sorry to hear about the issue with finding an adapter and the freezer being a little colder than normal. This can be normal to see depending on the amount of items inside or type of items. You can also raise the temperature slightly to see if it helps offset the freeze environment. If nothing helps out any, then we'd recommend taking advantage of your warranty and getting one of our technicians out. They can definitely get things working like new. Good refrigerator, nothing special.

We had space issues so we could only get a certain size refrigerator. This one worked for us, but we ended up sacrificing shelf space, going from a single door to a double door. The inside shelf space is much less than a single-door refrigerator, so this would not be a good choice for a family, but for two people, it works. It does look very nice, so I am satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!
