The refrigerator works well in the space of the one it replaced and we like the French doors and pull out freezer.

Just okay

Due to space limitations we were very limited in our options for a new fridge. This GE model seemed the better bet. It works just fine, but it’s substandard to our last one. This GE fridge is quite noisy when running and makes all sorts of odd noises including a weird moaning mooing sound on occasion. The shelves are not very configurable, especially since they are made to fit only one side. And moving one shelf up or down makes the middle shelf so little almost nothing fits. Because our water pitcher won’t fit in the door, and because the door is a horrible place to store milk unless you want it to spoil faster, I had to move the shelf on the right side up which means a lot of wasted space because of the lack of shelf options. The fold away shelf seemed like a great idea but it feels so flimsy that I suspect we’ll break it within the year, it doesn’t snap into place easily when extended. The freezer section is small, basically just for essentials. We don’t have water hook-up so are not using the ice maker but rely on ice cube trays which have to be placed width wise or else they don’t fit because the upper tray is so small. The main shelf needs something on it to hold it in place, otherwise it tips forward by the weight of the veg bins. Overall, it’s not bad. It’s just not great. It is definitely an improvement from the small studio fridge we were using while we waited for this one. And I still think it was the better choice of the three we had. Just not impressed overall.

Refrigerator in new camper

The refrigerator came in our new camper so I don’t know what condition it was in when installed but we have some problems the shelves are falling apart because the attachment bracket has a stripped out screw. The water dispenser barely works and the bottom drawer is broken. The unit does work food does stay cold and the ice maker does make ice. I hope someone will read this and respond with some help for these issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This GE refrigerator is the 3rd one I have had in 2 months. The other 2 I didn't like for one reason or another and saw this GE online and I knew right away it was the one for me. It is very good looking from the outside and the inside is exactly what I wanted. I love the long drawer below the fruit and vegetable bins. It could be a little quieter but it isn't too bad. I am so glad I have this appliance and would recommend it to anyone.

Nice appliance, tiny freezer

We bought this refrigerator because we were limited by the width of our space, and availability. It's smaller than our previous french door style refrigerator, which we realized. Love that it is a little shallower in the space, it fits better. Like the door organization, and that it has both produce and meat/cheese drawers, But the freezer is TINY. I mean, it's ridiculously small. And both the water dispenser (inside the door) and the icemaker are LOUD.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator is beautiful and very spacious. It fits perfectly in my kitchen and has more than enough storage for me. My only note is the door sometimes needs to be pushed closed, meaning the door doesn’t have the heft to close if you just swing it shut. Can be annoying sometimes but thankfully there is an alarm that will beep if it is accidentally left open. Happy with this purchase!
