Less capacity than we tought

The freezer layout doesn’t work well for us mainly because of the top shelf. If you use the icemaker you loose half the capacity of the shelf, and the shelf limits acces to the small bins below in the drawer. Otems on the top shelf of the refrigerator will freeze even thought it’s set at 37 degrees. Capacity in the fridge and french doors is good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect fridge

My family loves this thing. Everything is set to perfect temperature. Kids like the accessibility of the freezer. Apparently other companies don’t make them like they used to, but GE offers quality and dependability, and is by far the best I’ve owned.

Had a few second thoughts about purchasing a model not top rated but it proved to be much more than I expected. Put lazy Susan turn tables on shelves and everything is easily accessible. Keeps cold areas cold. Door bins hold a lot but items are accessible. My only negative is the pull out drawers. They do not move as smoothly as they should.
I would buy this model again. Can’t comment on ice maker as it isn’t connected.

GE Counter Depth Refrigerator

What I love about this refrigerator is that the size is perfect for me and my husband. I wanted an even smaller refrigerator as I found through the years that a larger unit just means that you waste more food as it can get lost in the vast area of a bigger refrigerator. So, I love the size of this! The set up is perfect and I have been able to fit everything we need in it. The only reason for a 4 star review is because I find the plastic dividing basket in the freezer seems flimsy, but in defense of GE, I found that it was the same across all of the brands I looked at. My overall opinion, I love it!

Bottom freezer, double door fridge

This fridge is so much more convenient than my old top freezer one door. And the fact that it looks built in without the expense of a “built in”
