worst refrigerator I ever had

the shelves are not deep enough, I can hardly fit all my food in. The freezer is exceptionally small, I cannot buy much frozen food. The icmaker does not stop when full and I have ice cubes all over my freezer, The food in the freezer gets all frost on it..I am surprised at how cheaply made 6tthe drawers are. I bought a ge because they have been in business forever but I guess I should have bought one made ,in china.. for the price I paid, it as a bad choice
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

Terrible refrigerator. I have had this for under a year. Freezer continuously frosting over. Freezer light stopped working. Main refrigerator area does not cool. It is set to 34 degrees, however thermometer reads 65 degrees! This unit is extremely loud as well. I don't know if I got a lemon or what, but this is a terrible refrigerator. I hate to complain and tarnish reputation, but this is unacceptable for what we are paying for this product.

We're very happy with our choice. The freezer is smaller than average. However, the doors alarm make up for the lack of freezer space. Everything is organized and easy to find. GE designed this just right!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thought would be perfect when looking in store But when plugged in fan louder than 15 year replacement Also freezer to small due to large ice tray

It's normal to hear the fans spinning at high speeds when the refrigerator is first plugged in, when the doors are opened frequently, or when a large amount of food is added to the refrigerator or freezer compartments. (The fans are helping to maintain the correct temperature.) Pretty good fridge for the size

This fridge is pretty spacious for its size. Freezer is bigger than expected. She’s a little noisy at times. And the inside water dispenser was a little crooked so the water shoots into the bottom drawer if we aren’t careful. But overall very satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice refrigerator / freezer is clunky

I generally love this fridge. It has great space usage. The freezer is a bit clunky. It is awkward that when you pull open the freezer door, it automatically pulls the top drawer with the ice maker. I am not always going in there to get ice and sometimes when I open it, ice falls out of the tray and onto the floor. Also, the bottom of the freezer could have an adjustable divider. Because of the shape I don't have anywhere to put a frozen pizza in a box....
I would recommend this to a friend!

If the refrigerator is a not frost free model, this is normal. If the refrigerator is a frost free (self-defrosting) model, frost can form on the back wall of the fresh food or freezer compartment for the following reasons:
Doors have been opened and closed frequently.
Doors have been left open for a long period.
There is a lot of wet food (ex. salad) or unwrapped food in the compartment.
High humidity from foods, especially warm foods.
Food is blocking the air circulation in the refrigerator. Ex: Packages resting against the rear wall.
Packages keeping the door open.
If the doors were reversed recently, often times the gaskets can be slightly misaligned. Inspect the gasket perimeter for signs of air infiltration.
The door gaskets not sealing properly or are torn or split.
If you continue to have problems, please contact service.
