Bright interior. Easy to reach shelves.

I owned this same model French door bottom freezer GE refigerator in my previous house. I had it for over a year with no problems. I am used to the layout, which is a little different than older refrigerators. The new refrigerator has as much if not more room than the refrigerator in both old side x side refrigerators I replaced. Both old refrigerators had broken in-the-door ice/water dispensers. I decided I did not want to go there again. The filtered chilled water dispenser on the inside is fine, though a little harder to get at. But better than costing hundreds of dollars to repair repeatedly. I can easily get ice from the bottom freezer, but with chilled water I don't need to. The bottom freezer is not as roomy as a side x side, but I have a small freezer in the garage, so I don't mind that. What I prefer is being able to see what's in the fridge and reach it easily.

Overall nice, some criticisms

PRO: Looks great. Interior can be rearranged very nicely; accommodates a variety of solutions. I particularly like the door-storage possibilities; I've set up ours just right for us.
CON: Fridge temperatures seem to vary wildly, depending on where an item is placed. The fridge is set to 37, as recommended, but I've had ice crystals on the carrots in the vegetable bin, and solidly frozen bottles of water set near the back. (My thermometer firmly disagrees about what the temperature is set to; it registers ~10 lower.) Finally, the freezer design (the rolling upper shelf) does not please me at all! I wish there was a way to keep it from automatically rolling out each time.
