repair guy said he had least number of repair calls on GE so it seemed like like a logical choice, my chest freezer has lasted us over 15 yrs.

The refrigerator portion is excellent. Would suggest that the freezer are be larger, especially the bottom drawer

Take a Chance on a Modern Approach to Cooling

I love it! I was a little hesitant to purchase because of the size and a few "not so great" reviews. However, I am so happy I took a chance. The refrigerator organizes everything very well. The shelves can accommodate almost any item. Just be sure to analyze the shelving slots with adjustable components and you will be fine. No problem with cooling for the fridge or freezer and I love the lighting. . .bright and stays on. The noises the Fridge makes every so often does not bother me at all. I think it's a lot more quiet than the one I used to have.
