Love the look of the profile and the stainless front. However, I don't like the force required to close the doors. I used to be able to just give my old fridge a shove and the doors shut. This one requires more force to open and shut. And the freezer on the bottom is VERY small. Single household and I had to give much of my frozen food to my nephew as it wouldn't hold as much as my previous GE side by side. Doubt it would hold a normal size Thanksgiving turkey if it were empty. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When the refrigerator door is opened, warm air rushes in-side. When you close the door, all of the warm air rushes to the evaporator which creates a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. We recommend referring to this link below for some helpful tip to loosen the refrigerator door.

Measurements very decptive. Be aware of the cubic feet. 2/3 the size of non counter depth.

Did I get a lemmon? Our Amana is much better

It freezes food at the back even though we've turned the temperature up twice. I will call the people who sold it to us and see what they recommend. Do you have a recommendation? Just keep turning the temperature up? I'm concerned other food will spoil.

We had an old GE refrigerator that still works but my wife wanted a more modern one with the freezer on the bottom.
We’re in our seventies and the new one will be easier to clean and find things. She loves her new GE refrigerator!
